Today I got to participate in one of the things I’ve been looking forward to in this program the most, the floor signing party! It’s exactly what it sounds like- a representative from each of the sponsors goes out to the house and writes well wishes on the floor of the Dining room, which will later be covered with carpet, or tile, or SOMETHING!

Doc, from our sister station and co- media sponsor GLO and I joked about how in 20 years, the owner of the house would probably go to replace the flooring and find all the wishes! We wondered if it’d still be the winner, or if it would be some unsuspecting family who had no idea their home was built out of a loving community in support of St. Jude Children’s research hospital! Wouldn’t that be COOL?

I couldn’t stop taking pictures! The house is GORGEOUS and everyone who was there was in such good spirits! The community comes together for this organization so wonderfully, and I am SO lucky to continue to be a part of it!
