Haunted Houses are, hands down, the BEST part of Halloween!

While half the people that go through are terrified, the other half go through to prove their toughness… and are usually the ones screaming bloody murder. I can tell you that I don’t watch horror movies much, because my willing suspension of disbelief is just not there for horror movies. So I take that attitude to Haunted Houses and EVERY TIME, I get the you-know-what (figuratively) scared out of me. Especially at the chainsaw. I get irrationally terrified whenever there’s a guy with a chainsaw… which is why when they get to the chainsaw guy part of the haunted house, it kills me. It’s like they shame him, telling him to “stop it” repeatedly, which he does as he hangs his head, they walk around him, and then get the bejeezus scared out of them by the next character. SO FUNNY!
