Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away. The family will be gathering around the dinner table to feast and give thanks. So while you’re pondering what you are thankful for, I thought I would share some interesting statistics on the average Thanksgiving dinner around the U.S.
Check ’em out…..
- The average Thanksgiving dinner has 9 or 10 people, lasts 2 to 4 hours, costs $130, and took the host nine days of planning and prep.
- Besides turkey, stuffing is the food people want the most. Mashed potatoes are second, and pumpkin pie is third.
- 33% of people will pretend they cooked something that was really store bought if people compliment it.
- And 75% of people would serve turkey that fell on the floor. (10 second rule)
Enjoy the holiday and be sure to get qualified for the Nash Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast. You have three chances a day to qualify at 8am, 11am, and 4pm. One of the qualifiers is going to win a $400 grocery gift card to be given away with Jim & Molly on November 24th. Gobble gobble! -Jim
