Summer Concert Series Returns to Wildlife Prairie Park

A night of music under the stars

 

HANNA CITY, IL – Wildfire, a summer concert series, returns for a 2nd year to Wildlife Prairie Park. Come listen to local bands on the Park’s west side property as the sun sets in the background over Parkside Lake. The entrance fee is just $5 to help cover the cost of the bands. Bar and concessions will be available for purchase provided by Silver Line Events & Catering. No outside food or drink please. Dogs are allowed but must be leashed and cleaned up after.

Kicking off the summer on June 8th, local favorite Brushville, will be bring you an energetic set with a country vibe. This will be the Park’s only Friday evening show. Brushville has played on stages with Keith Urban, Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Lady Antebellum, Jake Owen, The Band Perry and many more.  “We had an overwhelming amount of requests for a country band last summer. You asked and we listened! Three of six bands playing this year will be of the country genre”, said Brien Davis, event coordinator for the concert series.

                Concerts will start at 6pm and run until 10pm each night and parking is free. This is an afterhours event and guest passes or memberships cannot be used. The remaining concerts will take place as follows:
July 14th: The Brazilionaires
August 18th: Cusack Bros.
September 22nd: Tri-County Tailgaters

Wildlife Prairie Park is a 501c3 not for profit 1,800 acre zoological park located just 10 miles west of Peoria, IL in Hanna City.  The Park’s mission encompasses conservation, education, and recreation development in this unique habitat in the Midwest.
