Even when it was ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC VIDEO, I never was obsessive over them. While my friends would keep on MTV all day (yeah, remember when Music Television actually was about MUSIC?), I kept the radio on all day. Clearly, I was destined for this career in radio.
My whole life from the single digit years up through now has included the phrase from others “Did you see the music video for ____” with my response 99% of the time being “no.”
But being the gal in charge of Nash Next 2017 here on 97.3 Nash FM in Peoria, I don’t take any of it lightly. And while it would have been REALLY cool to see our 2016 Peoria winner, Brian Dennison, be the winner, I’m in LOVE with all things Todd O’Neill! This Louisiana boy has a rock-country sound, and his first single, Love Again, is quickly gaining in the charts, not only because he has the backing of one of the biggest radio companies in the country, but also because it’s GREAT!
The finale of Nash Next 2016 was in November of last year, and in April, Love Again was released. It took less than a year for the winner to be on the radio, and now, in June, his music video has been released by COUNTRY MUSIC TELEVISION. He is legit, guys. And THIS COULD BE YOU!!
