
HANNA CITY, IL – Do you want to get in touch with your creative side? Then this day is for you! On July 15th, the Park will host a variety of activities and demonstrations all focused on art. The Park will be open from 9am until 6:30pm and activities will run from 10am-3pm. Admission for the event will be the standard daily admission which is $9 for adults and $6 for children. All members will attend the event free of charge.
Some of the activities for the day include a photography contest and seminar by Mike Boatman at 10am and airbrush tattoos outside the Visitor Center until 3! At 12:30pm please head to the bricks in the main park area for a special dedication of “Hope”, a sculpture by Charlie Brouwer, which was graciously donated by Bill and Paula Cirone this past spring. Inside Forest Hall, test your artistic abilities with a beginner level painting class brought to you by Vino Van Gogh! Advanced registration is required and can be made for a 10am class or a 2pm class. While Mom and Dad enjoy a painting lesson upstairs, kids of all ages can join in a kid’s art project in the basement of Forest Hall. Any guest who shows their Vino Van Gogh receipt at the Ticket Gate upon arrival will have admission waived for the day! Visit us on Facebook or online at WildlifePrairiePark.org for more details.
