The St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer is coming up in September, and it’s an AWESOME family-friendly event! You can walk or run, of course, but there are all kinds of other entertainment, including Marvel characters (I made friends with Spiderman, and he kept heckling me on stage) to take pictures with, a photo booth, food, music, and of course, raising money for St. Jude.

Did you know that no family who goes to St. Jude ever sees a bill for treatment or care? Parents shouldn’t have to worry about working extra to cover the costs, they should only have to worry about making their child better! Every single person at St. Jude is FOCUSED on every child that comes through the doors, and because of this amazing place, huge advancements have been made. Since St. Jude opened its doors, the childhood cancer survival rate has raised from only 20% to 80% and it’s still climbing!

But they need YOUR help! St. Jude was built on donations from people like YOU! Even $25 can help tremendously in the fight against cancer!

I am very committed to this cause! I started raising money for an event here and there years ago, and I’ve grown my commitment! I’m part of the committee for the Walk/Run to end Childhood Cancer, and while I won’t be running or walking, I will be up on stage leading the event as the emcee for the second year in a row! We want this year to be the BEST year ever for the Walk/Run.

And to give you even more incentive… I found this very embarrassing video of myself from around 6 years ago, that’s been on YouTube, but it’s been locked down so only I can view it. I won’t tell you what the video contains, but I will start giving you clues on air.

As of this post, I’ve raised $205. If I can raise $200 before June 30th, I’ll release the video. So before June 30th, I’m looking for that total to become $405.
