Wildlife Prairie Park to host Spring Volunteer Orientation this Weekend
HANNA CITY, IL – Wildlife Prairie Park will host the annual Spring Volunteer Orientation on Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 10:00am to 12:00pm in the Hespell Deck. All are welcome to attend and learn about the inner workings of volunteering. Guests will meet with current volunteers, Park staff, and other volunteer prospects. Activities involve a presentation of the Park and how volunteering is essential to allowing the mission of conservation, recreation and education to come alive.
Volunteer Orientation at Wildlife Prairie Park offer those interested in volunteering the opportunity to get a feel for what projects and roles are available to volunteers. Roles and projects range from construction, maintenance, guest services, trail guides, family and group volunteering, scout projects and more. Questions are welcomed. Wildlife Prairie Park is a 501c3 not for profit 2,000 acre zoological park located just 10 miles west of Peoria, IL in Hanna City. The Park’s mission encompasses conservation, education, and recreation development in this unique habitat in the Midwest.
