There’s a new Lego movie coming out February 10th, Lego Batman, and now Chevy is getting on board with the promotions!
First, the commercial. You’ve see the Chevy commercials where it’s a focus group with “real people, not actors” that are oohing and ahhing over how prestigious this Chevy car looks and how it’s a great value.
Well, they tested out the Batmobile, however, Batman isn’t loving the comments.
In real life, Chevy actually spent 1,833 hours building this Lego Batmobile. If they spent a week building it, it took 46 people’s entire 40 hour work week to build. This undertaking also took 344,187 bricks!
The Lego Batmobile is going for the low, low price of $48,000,000. Actually, it’s not. The car won’t be available for production purchase, despite Chevy comically having all the specs on their site for it.
