Grab the tissues. In 5 minutes you realize a story that has haunted this aged sheriff all his life. Like any Pixar short, this is absolutely worth the watch, but be prepared for all of the emotions.

In most animated stories, you expect them to be light or have a happy ending, but this one leaves the viewer dazed and yearning. Andrew Coats, one of the films’ creators said “People’s expectations of what animation is to them varies. It’s great because that means we’re challenging what people are expecting. And that’s what we set out to do in the beginning.”
