Hurricane Matthew is about to leave the east coast, but it’s leaving behind a path of total devastation. I was watching The Weather Channel this morning and several people were being rescued from the hotel they had sought safety at after being evacuated from their homes on the coastline. The Red Cross is still helping families in Louisiana piece their lives back together after the flooding there in August and we will have no idea how many families will need help from the after effects of Hurricane Matthew. Remember the easiest to make a donation is simply be texting ‘REDCROSS’ to 90999 to make a $10 donation. That’s such a reasonable amount of money and if many people make that donation it will add up to a great deal of help. For more information on the Red Cross click HERE.
