St. Jude has made significant strides towards curing childhood cancer. From the time they opened their doors to today, they have raised the survival rate from only 20% to over 80%. They are a truly non-for-profit hospital, so any advances in research they find, they share freely with other hospitals and researchers. They don’t care WHO finds the cure, they just want one!

You can help. You most likely HAVE helped! Because of you, more children are able to grow up as survivors than ever before, but they need your help again. YOU can be the difference between 80% cure-rate and 100%. Because while 80% is an impressive number, stories like the one below still exist:

“No one knows how many days he has left….he could be gone tomorrow or in 2 weeks…or two months. It’ll never ever be enough. Soon I won’t be able to smell his hair or hug his body. Our family will be incomplete….broken but we will be strong.”

No family should ever, EVER have to understand this feeling, and with your help, soon, no one WILL have to feel this! You never know if your kid will need the services St. Jude provides, so donate now to make sure it’s there if your child does need it.

Bring out the whole family, too! Marvel characters and minions will be on hand to meet your kids! The Zoo Lady will be painting faces. There’s a Drum Line, Line Dancing, Bubbles, Markers, Sidewalk Chalk, jump ropes and more! You can take fun and goofy pictures in the photo booth, snack on popcorn, and have a great time in addition to your run or walk!
