Queen Bey has made the crossover to Country for a track on her newest album, Lemonade, and it’s received some praise from country music stars! Everyone from Karen Fairchild to Dierks Bentley, Miranda Lambert to even Garth Brooks have all given Beyonce the nod of approval for her track, titled Daddy Lessons. Bey co-wrote the song that is about lessons she learned from her father, who is also her former manager.

The Dixie Chicks even covered it during their ongoing National Tour, and Blake Shelton has been defending it from country music fans who claim that neither the song, nor Beyonce, count as “country.” It’s safe to say the country superstars are on her side with this one.
