In March, Lifeline Pilots will be celebrating their 25th anniversary. In that time, over 8000 missions have been completed serving patients and their families who have sever medical needs at far away medical centers, but can’t afford the travel to get there; delivering needed supplies to areas affected by both man-made and natural disasters; and humanitarian needs like transporting current and former military personnel.
On March 19th, Lifeline Pilots will be celebrating their anniversary with a “Hangar Dance and Hog Roast,” at the brand new corporate hangar for CAT. The Commemorative Air Force is planning on flying in some of their vintage aircraft, some Lifeline pilots will be bringing in their aircrafts, and country band, Feudin Hillbillys will be the featured entertainment.
Lifeline Pilots has fallen on hard times as of late as fundraising efforts had dried up over the last several years. The budget is tight but the requests for help are at an all time high. The volunteer pilot count is down to only about 450 pilots and the staff is literally on call 24/7, 365. They need your help.
