My daughter sent me this video yesterday and it is such a touching tribute to Cole Swindell’s father. It immediately made me think of my dad, who I lost just a couple years back. For anyone who has lost a father, you may want to grab a box of Kleenex and check out Cole’s newest music video. The song is called “You Should Be Here”.

Cole says:

“This is the song I came to Nashville to write,” reflects Cole. “It’s not like anything I’ve written before. I’m extremely proud this is the first single from my next album. I think anyone can relate to this song for so many different reasons because we’ve all had moments that we wished someone special could have shared with us.”

The video begins by capturing Swindell’s first big year on the country music scene, then transitions to a touching visit to the cemetery where his father is buried. Be prepared to cry like a baby. -Jim
