Sam Hunt had a day off from his tour with Lady Antebellum, and decided to spend it with Taylor Swift. He joined Taylor on stage at Soldier Field, singing his hit song “Take Your Time.”

Taylor introduced Sam as “the coolest thing that country music has going on.” Each of them took a verse of the song and shared the chorus. Swift admits that she keeps tabs on what’s going on in country music despite officially going pop with the release of her 1989 album. Taylor’s fans showed Sam lots of love with applause and screams, and Taylor even gives him a big hug as they walk across the stage together in the video. Could Sam be a new love interest for Taylor Swift…Hmmm, you never know.

Sam Hunt’s single “House Party” is trying to become his third straight number one hit from his album Montevallo. He rejoins Lady Antebellum on Thursday night in Eau Claire, Wisconsin for his next show. Check out Sam and Taylor here –Jim
