It’s hot. Ice cream can help. There are quite a few amazing ice cream shops here in the Peoria area. Only In Your Area came out with a list of the 20 best ice cream shops in Illinois. Quite a few of them are in Chicago and the suburbs.
Outside of Chicago try the Dari Ripple in Pittsfield, Gene’s Ice Cream in Bloomington, Dairy Mart in Salem, The Custard Stand in Sesser, Jarling’s in Champaign, Dairyhaus in Rockton and Eckert’s Country Store and Farms in Belleville.
An ice cream shop right here in Peoria made the list…The Spotted Cow!!! They’ve got ice cream, they’ve got food. It all looks so good.
