This Saturday is the last Silver Screen Saturday at the Peoria Riverfront Museum.  They are showing The Godfather.  This movie won 3 Academy Awards and is definitely one of those movies that you need to see.  It was made in 1972 and stars Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, Diane Keaton and Robert Duvall.  It was directed by Francis Ford Coppola.

 

There will be a guest speaker…Arnie Bernstein who wrote Hollywood on Lake Michigan: 100 Years of Chicago & the Movies.  There will be a book signing in the Museum lobby at 5 and the movie starts at 6.
